LOCATION: Wichita Sluggers Academy Tryouts will be held at Westurban Baseball Complex in Wichita, KS.

TIME: Freshmen & Sophomores 12pm, Juniors & Seniors 2pm
***NOTE: there will not be a tryout for the 14 and under ages due to a lack of registration at these ages.***

DESCRIPTION: This tryout will be for those who plan to play for Sluggers Baseball Academy the year of 2011/2012. Tryouts will also be for those who want to play Showcase Fall Ball with Sluggers who did not play for Sluggers during the 2011 summer season. All returning Sluggers Academy Players ARE REQUIRED to attend tryouts. We will alot times for the age groups to attend as we get numbers from our registration in, if you plan to attend tryouts you MUST REGISTER ONLINE! You may register online for tryouts by clicking the "Tryout Online Registration" button above and filling out the form on the registration page. After registration has completed we will contact you via email to give the tryout itinerary. Please contact us for more information regarding Sluggers Academy Tryouts.

There will be no hitting or pitching groups this week, the week of 1-30-12 to 2-5-12 due to Super Bowl week. The academy will be opened for opened work Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Let us know if there are any questions. We will still have tomorrow's defensive practice.

Sluggers Academy would like to pass some information about our Academy to our email lists. We apologize that the email lists have not been active, we are working on some big things for the future and would like to get information out about our personal instructors that we have lined out for the winter months of 2011/2012. If you are interested in personal instruction all of our personal instructors and information are listed on our website under instruction and by clicking "Baseball Instruction" in the drop down box. All personal instruction information will be listed here, if you are interested in a specific instructor you can view their bio's (all bio's coming soon) by clicking their picture from the baseball instruction page. If you would like to contact a personal instructor to schedule time with them please click the "Email Instructor" button listed by each instructor on the page. If you are having problems getting a hold of an instructor please contact Sluggers and we can get you in touch with them. Congratulations to current Slugger Tucker Chadd who was drafted by the Detroit Tigers in last week's MLB First Year Player Draft. Tucker is signed to play baseball next year at Barton CC.
